What to expect

The Formation program is designed for Polish undergraduate and masters students (graduating between December 2027 and June 2029), pairing hands-on technical prep, senior engineering mentorship, and career coaching to help you excel in a software engineering internship.

This hands-on, intensive program requires a commitment of 15 to 40 hours per week. It operates fully remote, allowing participants to complete tasks on their own schedule. However, participants must be available for live group sessions during some evenings.

Timeline

Join

This program opens doors for students in Poland pursuing a career in tech, pairing personalized software engineering prep with world-class mentorship from top engineers across the tech industry.

To be considered for the program, prospective participants must submit an application to Formation, complete a coding benchmark assessment, and interview with a Formation Recruiter.

Receive a personalized prep roadmap

The Formation program uses adaptive prep technology to assess an applicant’s abilities and build a custom roadmap to the skills for a Software Engineering Internship at Waymo.

Prep for Waymo Intern Engineering roles

Participants will develop and refine their skills by working with senior engineers who provide detailed and actionable feedback during 1:1 and small technical group sessions. Then, participants can put their skills to the test with mock interviews with practicing engineers from top companies.

Finish your application with industry recruiters

While participants sharpen their technical skills, they'll also work with career coaches and technical recruiters to refine their resume, craft a personal pitch, and fine-tune their interview skills.

Interview at Waymo

Participants who are fully dedicated to the program and demonstrate high technical ability will have the opportunity to interview for a summer 2027 Software Engineering Internship at Waymo’s Warsaw office; however, neither an internship nor a full-time offer is guaranteed.
